Why LA Homeowners Call Camberos Masonry

Real Masonry, By Hand

Brick, block, stone and concrete are our whole trade — not a sideline. Footings, coursing, drainage and finish details done the traditional way, because that is why masonry lasts.

Built for LA Ground

Hillside walls with real drainage, slabs built for expansive soil, finishes that suit Spanish, Craftsman and modern houses. This is Los Angeles work by people who know Los Angeles lots.

Straight Written Quotes

We look at the site, flag permits and engineering honestly, and put the price and timeline in writing. No phone guesses, no surprise change orders for things we should have seen.

One Crew, Whole Project

Walls, flatwork, veneer, fire features and tile from one contractor — so materials match, schedules hold, and the finished yard reads as one design instead of four handoffs.

How We Work

How a Job With Camberos Runs

From the first look at the site to the final walk-through, here is exactly how it goes.

1

See the Site

We look at the project where it lives: the grade, the access, what is being held back or built on, and what you want the finished space to look like.

2

Straight Quote

You get a written quote with a real timeline. It spells out materials, finishes, demolition and haul-off, and flags permit or engineering questions before anything is built.

3

We Build It

Proper base and footings, clean courses, real drainage behind every wall. The details you cannot see are the reason the work lasts, and we treat them that way.

4

Final Walk-Through

We walk the finished work together — joints, finishes, cleanup, the whole job. Done means you have looked at every part of it and said so.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions About Your Project? Straight Answers.

The questions LA homeowners ask us most. Don't see yours? Call us. You'll be talking to the crew, not a call center.

Call (424) 653-0453

What areas do you serve?
We work across the Los Angeles area with a focus on Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, La Cañada Flintridge and the surrounding foothill neighborhoods, plus Bel Air on the Westside. We are based in Carson, so the South Bay is home ground too. If you are anywhere in LA County, call and we will tell you straight whether your project fits our schedule.
What services do you offer?
Full-scope residential masonry and hardscape work: brick work and brick veneer, block walls, natural stone and stone veneer, retaining walls, concrete driveways, patios and pool decks, paver driveways and patios, outdoor living features like fire pits and outdoor kitchens, masonry repair and restoration, and outdoor tile. If it is built from brick, block, stone or concrete, it is what we do all day.
Do you handle repairs, or only new construction?
Both. Repair and restoration are a real part of our week — failed or leaning walls rebuilt, historic river rock and stone walls restored with the original material, cracked steps and driveways replaced, and old surfaces refinished. If the existing masonry can be saved, we will tell you; if it is cheaper to rebuild than to patch, we will tell you that too.
How much will my project cost?
Every honest masonry number starts with seeing the site, because the price lives in the details: wall height and length, what is behind and above it, access for material and equipment, demolition, and the finish you pick. We look at the job, talk through options at different budgets, and give you a written quote. What we do not do is guess over the phone.
Do I need a permit for my wall or concrete project?
It depends on what is being built and where. In the City of Los Angeles, for example, a retaining wall over 4 feet tall measured from the bottom of the footing — or any retaining wall holding weight from above like a driveway or slope — requires a permit and engineering, and hillside areas have their own stricter rules. Glendale, Burbank and Pasadena each have their own thresholds. We flag permit questions on the site visit before any work is priced.
Can you match existing brick, stone or stucco?
Matching is a core masonry skill and we take it seriously — reusing original material where possible, sourcing compatible brick and stone where not, and finishing stucco and mortar to blend with what is already there. On one restoration we rebuilt a failed historic river rock wall using about 95 percent of the original rock.
How long does a typical project take?
Small repairs can be a day or two. A typical wall, patio or driveway runs from several days to a couple of weeks depending on size, demolition, curing time and inspections when permits are involved. You get a realistic timeline with the quote, and you hear about anything unexpected the day it comes up.
How do I get started?
Call (424) 653-0453 or send the quick form on this site. We will talk through what you want to build or fix, look at the site, and get you a written quote. You will be talking to the people who actually do the work, not a call center.
